Saturday, June 6, 2015: National Trails Day. Not sure what your plans are yet? Let us help you get your creativity flowing:

1. Take your bike for a spin.

2. Go on a walk with your majestic pup.

3. Clean Up Your Favorite Trail.

Show the trails some love—and save yourself and your friends from stubbed toes and walking into tree branches.

Remember to bring appropriate tools, close-toed shoes, and your intense face.

4. Take a Trail Selfie.

Selfies look better outside.

5. Make Your Own Trail.

Just kidding. Leave No Trace Principle #2 says to camp and travel on durable surfaces (i.e., trails that already exist). Lucky for you, snow is a durable surface.

6. Have an adventure on a waterfall-cliff-trail.

Don't have one of those in your backyard? You can try to build your own out of popsicle sticks and glue, or you can take a backpacking course in India.

7. Remember—relax and enjoy being outside. That's why you go to the trails, after all.

Trails are awesome, but getting off the trails and into the backcountry is pretty sweet, too. Visit our website to find out how you can start exploring.
