NOLS Leaders: Tori Murden McClure

Posted by: William Roth on May 5, 2010

A boat called Pearl, Muhammad Ali, and an impressive list of firsts all feature prominently in the newest addition to our NOLS Leaders video series.

This time we sit down with Tori Murden McClure. Her accomplishments give new meaning to the word determination and will inspire you to take on the world.

Tori is now the president of Spalding University, but the path that took her there was truly remarkable.

She is the first woman to row across the Atlantic, the first woman to ski to the South Pole, and a two-time NOLS grad! Add "accomplished author" to that list and you wonder how she even had time to be interviewed by us.
